Today I received my cousin's newly published book, "Holla’ If You Hear Me". I was absorbed in this book all day long, Joe, you are amazing. I think, as I read, “This man has incredible vision.” You have the gift of reading a child’s mind. I am looking forward to finishing this novel.

Almost finished with the book, and have enjoyed every minute of it! Joe Hudson is very talented. It would also make a great screenplay!

Just finished reading one of the best books I have read in a long time, Holla' If You Hear Me! It's action-packed on every page and you won't put it down until you have read the last word. What a weekend: hanging with Will, D, Quilla and T. This book; an upset, a sleeper hit, and destined to become a cult classic, grabbed hold and refused to let go. These characters, carefully constructed on the front-end, sprang to life as the story unfolded. The description of Matthias Farm and Estate are sublime. If we'd all had a sage-like, street-wise, Doc Marten stompin' teacher like Mr. Douglass, the world would indeed be a better place. This is the best piece of fiction to darken my doorstep in a hot minute. There are some pivotal, sphincter-tightening moments between these pages. Screenplay-worthy! ‘Holla’ if you hear me’!!

Your book was my first book purchase on my I pad and I read 305 pages the first night. I am loving it!!!!! Can't wait to finish up, probably tonight. You completely crack me up, Joe!

I loved Holla’! Your descriptive writing makes you feel like you are right there with them. When you find the movie location for the Matthias farm, I want to see it in person! I loved how I saw so much of you and your travels and experiences, and familiar names and places incorporated into the story.

I love the way you brought together and united people who would not normally come together in such circumstances. I can't wait for the next book.
 

"Holla' If You Hear Me!" is one of the best books that I've ever read. The way the author Joe Hudson puts all the events into play is amazing and will make you want to read more and more every second. What I liked most about the book is how four teenagers with different backgrounds become friends and try to save the day together. It was an honor to be the first to read such a great book by such a great author.

"Holla' If You Hear Me!" is a reiveting tale of a group of middle school students from very different backgrounds, coming together to try to save a city and the President. The author, Joe Hudson, puts you there with his descriptive imagery and a plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Each chapter leaves the reader wanting more. I couldn't put it down until it was finished.

The best book I've read in twenty years. The feel good story of the year. The rich, colorful descriptions and the personalities of the characters allowed me to feel the emotions of the four as the story progressed. "Holla' If You Hear Me!" shows that children of different backgrounds all have something to contribute and something to learn from each other. Every child should read this book.
